King’s wrestling coach McGinley reaches 400 career wins

head_mcginley2WILKES-BARRE – King’s College wrestling coach Ned McGinley posted the 400th win of his career on Saturday at the John Reese Duals at Wilkes University.

King’s went 1-3 on the day, but used a 19-12 triumph over New York University in the second round to present McGinley with his milestone victory. In his 41st season at the Monarchs’ helm, McGinley is 400-334-1 mark but several of his losses came early in his career when the Monarchs wrestled at the Division II level

King’s was led by junior Mike Reilly, who went 4-0 on the day. Reilly, who is ranked eighth nationally at 184, posted a pin, major decision, and two decisions on the day. At 174, freshman David Foley was 2-0 while fellow rookie Brendon Dwyer was also 2-0 at 197.
