Earlier this month we released our Regional All-Americans featuring the best wrestlers from five geographic areas. Now we present the best of the best as we introduce our top selection at each weight.
The 2010 team is quite a special group. Their accomplishments are varied and diverse. Each of these wrestlers has won major national events in their careers including Fargo, Super32, and NHSCA titles as well as multiple state awards.
A bumper crop from Pennsylvania highlights the All-American Team. Their contingent, along with New Jersey comprises 10 of the 14 first team All-Americans.
Many of these wrestlers came into the season highly regarded. They didn’t disappoint as 8 of our All-Americans went wire-to-wire as our #1 ranked wrestler at their respective weight.
*It should be noted that our list was determined after the regular high school season concluded. Wrestlers were considered at the weight in which they competed at their championship tournament only. Postseason events were not taken into consideration.
Special thanks to Clinch Gear. Also thanks to Benton Trophy’s. Benton has provided this years awards. Each Athlete on our first team will be receiving a custom plaque in the mail.
Congrats to all of you.

Having Villalonga #2 on any team especially this this one is ridiculous! And to have Kindig #1 is even more absurd after the way he was dominated @ DD by Villalonga @140. Let alone him losing during the season to an unranked wrestler.
I cant wait for the Cornell Penn State match next year when Villalonga will put this Alton infatuation to bed. BTW the wrestler of the year should be a no-brainer..LOGAN STIEBER!
Well since you did not provide a real e-mail. I will reply.
Apparently you did not read the criteria. Post season does not count and the weights used are those you completed the season at. But hey why read the actual info right?
Maybe we should hire you, I mean the class and knowledge you show is one of a kind.
How did they pick this team
The team was based on the completion of our end of the season rankings.
After watching the Cadet Heavyweights in Fargo, Gaylen Edmo from Idaho should be on the first or second team minimum. BD
Wait after reading that, Huh?
