Two-time national champion Katie Lange of Grand Valley State opened with a 10-0 technical fall at 138 pounds in the inaugural NCAA Women's Wrestling Championships in Coralville, Iowa. Top-ranked McKendree won a key match at 124 pounds with third-ranked Shelby Moore edging Iowa's eighth-ranked Cali Leng on criteria. The quarterfinals are set and will take place at 5 p.m. ET.
