The Open Mat offers a variety of marketing options. Our site layout allows for targeted marketing opportunities. If your clients are Big 10 Fans or live in a geographical location you can place your ads in that section. Below you will find our rates and space that is available.

Ads will rotate on the category you select. Large ads have a higher chance of being at the top of a rotation. We are offering our advertisers multiple options to reach your target demographics. Contact us today to lock in your categories. ads@theopenmat.com

Advertisers can choose as many categories as they wish. As stated earlier your ads are targeted. Let’s say that you are a sponsor in the Big 12 and Oklahoma state categories. We are working on a system that will allow your ad to appear on any story page where those categories are applicable. This added service will be free to the advertisers. The “article” aspect is in beta and will be functional sometime in the future, But this does provide the advertiser with an added bonus.

The Open Mat is asking for a 6 month minimum commitment. For this we will add two additional months for free. That’s 8 months for the price of 6.

To date our “hobby” sites have provided us with an average of 27,000 visitors per month between our blog and website. Currently our forum has generated about 10,000 visitors per month and 150,000 page views per month.

Our Goal by the end of 2009 is 50,000 visitors and 250,000 page views per month.

Advertisers can pay monthly or in advance. We use PayPal for all transactions.

The site will be launching in late June with some great exclusive material. As we get closer to the season more and more feature articles will come on-line.
