SOFIA, Bulgaria – Russian wrestlers won three gold medals on the final day of the Greco-Roman competition at the junior wrestling world championships and walked away with the team title.
Russia won four weight categories over the two days of Greco-Roman competition at Arena Armeetz in Sofia to take the title with 65 points from four gold medalists, a runner-up and bronze medal winner.
Azerbaijan finished second in the team rankings with 47 points 0-1-3 followed by Iran with 42 1-1-1.
