Watch This: Yarygin, Dake/Dieringer, Ohio State/Iowa and More this Weekend

Watch This - Jan. 27th, 2017

This weekend, we’ve got free streams from United World Wrestling and CampusInsiders as well as the usual array of offerings from ESPN3, BTN, and others if you have access. This is by no means a complete list of the wrestling you can watch this weekend, but these are the highlights. Enjoy!

All times listed are eastern.

Ivan Yarygin 2017 – 10:00 pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. (UWW Live Stream)

Olympic champion Kyle Snyder leads a small group of American men and women into Russia to compete in one of the toughest international tournaments on the calendar.

#5 Virginia Tech vs. #7 Lehigh – 7:00 pm (CampusInsiders)

This dual features second-ranked Joey Dance against seventh-ranked Darian Cruz at 125, seventh-ranked Solomon Chishko versus #11 Laike Gardner at 149 and second-ranked Zach Epperly squaring off with fifth-ranked Ryan Preisch at 174.

#4 Ohio State vs. #3 Iowa – 8:00 pm (BTN)

Our dual of the week features Iowa coming off of a pair of losses against an undefeated Ohio State squad. Top-ranked Nathan Tomasello (Ohio State) and two-time NCAA finalist Cory Clark are the match of the night, but number three Brandon Sorensen facing undefeated Micah Jordan and fourth-ranked Sammy Brooks against last year’s 174-pound national champion, Myles Martin, will be spectacular as well.

#2 Oklahoma State vs. #8 Missouri – 8:00 pm (ESPN3)

These two teams have developed a nice rivalry over the last few years and this one should be fun as well. From 149 through 165, none of the expected starters are ranked lower than seventh and there are three more clashes between ranked wrestlers on the docket.

Lock Haven at #24 Edinboro – 7:00 pm (FloPro)

Edinboro took down Rider last week to gain the inside track to the EWL regular season championship. If they can get past Lock Haven, the title is likely theirs.

#1 Penn State vs. #10 Wisconsin – 8:00 pm (BTN Plus)

A pair of outstanding bouts at 165 and 285 will be the focus. Returning national finalist Isaac Jordan meets fourth-ranked Vincenzo Joseph while second-ranked Connor Medbery is set to face fourth-ranked Nick Nevills.

Penn vs. Bucknell – 6:00 pm (CampusInsiders)

#6 Nebraska vs. Purdue – 7:00 pm (BTN Plus)

#16 Rutgers vs. #15 Michigan – 7:00 pm (BTN Plus)

Indiana vs. Northwestern – 8:00 pm (BTN Plus)

Old Dominion vs. #18 Central Michigan – 7:00 pm (ESPN3)

Paris Tournament 2017 – 4:00 am Saturday and Sunday morning. (UWW Live Stream)

A large contingent of Americans, including Kyle Dake and Alex Dieringer at 74 kg, is wrestling in Paris this weekend. The medal matches should be a nice way to start the day even if you aren’t interested in getting up early on the weekend. The true international diehards will already be up watching Yarygin and can roll right into day one.

Bearcat Open – 10:00 am (Track)

Eight of the top 10 teams in the WCWA are scheduled to compete just three weeks before the national tournament begins.

The eight military academies clash in this tournament for the 23rd time. Navy has historically dominated this event but will have a fight on their hands as Army has designs on the title as well. CampusInsiders has a free live stream of both mats.

#2 Oklahoma State vs. #20 Iowa State – 3:00 pm (Cyclones.tv)

Fifth-ranked Nolan Boyd and eighth-ranked Pat Downey are the main event with 2016 All-American Lelund Weatherspoon and 2015 All-American Kyle Crutchmer a nice undercard.
