TOM’s High School Wrestling Team of the Week – Mar. 13th, 2017

Mechanicsburg, PA

The 2016-17 season will always be a special one for the Mechanicsburg wrestling team. The Indians had many firsts this wrestling season. First, the team made history by advancing to the Division III state team finals and wound up in second place. They won the individual state tournament with 118 ½ team points and had three individual state champions. Kaleb Romero (170) became the first four-time state champion for the Indians. Next season, state runner-up Colt Yinger (152) as well as district qualifiers Dakota Lay (106) and Dustin Knapp (182), will attempt to keep the ball rolling and help the Indians achieve another successful season. Congratulations to the Mechanicsburg wrestling staff for helping these kids achieve success on and off the mats! Mechanicsburg is TOM’s High School Wrestling Team of the Week!
