2017 Beat the Streets Brings Intrigue, Quality to Times Square

2017 Beat the Streets

Tomorrow night, Wednesday, May 17th, in New York City, the 2017 Beat the Streets Benefit takes over Times Square once again putting some of the best wrestlers in the world on display. Four American World or Olympic champions will take the mat against a Japanese team with strong international accolades of their own. In addition to the full men's freestyle dual and three women's freestyle matches, 2017 US Open champion Jordan Oliver will square off against 2015 world champion and 2016 Olympic bronze medalist Frank Chamizo (Italy). Highlighting the high school matches will be a special first to five takedowns battle between the second ranked 126 in the country Austin Desanto (Exeter, PA) and the top ranked 132 Daton Fix (Sand Springs, OK). It will be a spectacular night of action, this is what we'll be keeping a close eye on.
