What I Learned in Fargo – Wrapping Up

When you spend eight days in the FargoDome watching some of the best wrestlers in the country, hanging around many of the top coaches, and generally immersing yourself in the sport, you can’t help but learn a thing or two along the way.  Fargo sparked so many thoughts that I had to write about a few of them part way through.  Now that the event has wrapped up, there are more things to discuss.  We’ll talk about the good and the bad holding a tournament like Fargo, how club coaches are boosting entire states to a higher level, the fundamental problem with officiating, and how the tournament is another great example of why each individual athlete’s development is different.
