TheOpenMat.com has released it's February 21, 2017, NCAA Division I Individual College Wrestling Rankings. Athletes who are known to be redshirting, injured for a prolonged amount of time or are known to be coming back the second semester are not ranked. During the season, wrestlers who miss two weeks of scheduled competition (excluding opens), will be removed from the rankings (with some exceptions based on available information). They will be returned to the rankings when they compete. Ineligible student-athletes are not ranked, even if they are competing in open tournaments and plan to return to the lineup in the second semester. When they return eligible, they will be ranked. *note these are not official records and include all wins and losses except the All-Star Classic.

125 - Joey Dance (Virginia Tech) beat Tim Lambert (Nebraska) Sunday evening which shuffled the top-five a bit.  For now, Dance only moves up to fourth, though it is debatable whether Darian Cruz's (Lehigh) head-to-head win should continue to keep him in front of Dance considering Cruz lost to Ethan Lizak (Minnesota) and Dance has better wins overall.  I'm keeping Cruz in front right now, but it is very close.  The big question was what to do with Nick Suriano (Penn State) after his injury default loss to Nick Piccininni (Oklahoma State).  The loss counts on his record, but the injury costs him a chance to win the match.  Suriano was ahead when the injury occurred, but even if he wasn't, it would be hard to punish a wrestler when they didn't get a chance to finish the match.  I'm leaving Suriano at number two for now on the assumption that he returns for Big 10s reasonably healthy.  If he injury defaults out of the Big 10 tournament, his seed will be something to keep an eye on.
