Day four of the 2017 World Championships in Paris, France, sees women's freestyle conclude with 48 kg, 53 kg, 60 kg, and 69 kg taking the mat on Thursday, August 24th. For Team USA, that means Victoria Anthony (48 kg), Haley Augello (53 kg), Alli Ragan (60 kg), and Tamyra Mensah (69 kg) get their time in the spotlight. While only Ragan has medaled at this level, a silver in December, expect this to be a good day for the Americans. If Japan stumbles a bit on Wednesday, there will be speculation as to whether we'll see an upset in the team race. However, their day four contingent is incredibly strong, including one wrestler who has never lost in international competition. Look for them to slam the door and take yet another team title in fine fashion.
You can follow all the action live on TrackWrestling and you can watch the medal matches live on NBC’s Olympic Channel. Matches begin at 4 am eastern time with medal matches scheduled for 1 pm.
