LOCK HAVEN – Lock Haven University head coach Rocky Bonomo has stepped down as leader of the wrestling program.
The university’s public relations department confirmed over the weekend that Bonomo has retired from Lock Haven University.
When contacted, Bonomo said he was advised not to comment on the situation at this time.
The Bald Eagles do still have associate head coach Robbie Waller on staff. Decorated NCAA wrestler Teyon Ware is also a volunteer assistant in the program.
No time frame has been given as to when a new head coach would be named by the university.
