As we near the middle of September in the wrestling calendar, that means that the high school season is right around the corner. With that, one of the premier preseason events of the prep schedule is just days away – FloWrestling’s 2021 Who’s Number One.
2021 is the ninth year of the event. WNO will once again feature an elite lineup of matches designed to showcase many of the best pour-for-pound wrestlers in the nation, all of whom hope to earn the right to call themselves the No. 1 wrestler in the country at their weight by the end of the weekend. This is also a historic WNO women’s card on night one of the two-day event.
On Friday, September 17 – Saturday, September 18, in Dallas, Texas, fans will witness 25 matches from 47 of the country’s top high school athletes, plus Bo Bassett, one of the best middle school wrestlers.
This year's Who's Number One will feature 25 matches between 48 of the nation's top wrestlers across two nights.— FloWrestling (@FloWrestling) September 14, 2021
