The final act of the 2017 UWW Under 23 World Championships brings men's freestyle to the stage starting with 57 kg, 61 kg, 86 kg, and 125 kg on Saturday, November 25th, 2017 in Bydogszcz, Poland.  The final World Championships under the old one day format sees action for these four weight classes begin at 10:00 am local, 4:00 am eastern with the finals scheduled for 6:00 pm local/noon eastern.  TrackWrestling will stream every match live and you can follow the tournament there as well. Team USA will be looking to put an exclamation point on a superlative year during which they claimed men's freestyle team titles at the Senior and Junior level while finishing as the runners-up at the Cadet World Championships.  This has already been a year of unparalleled success for the Americans.  Now they'll try to add one more strong performance in this new competition. The under 23 classification provides an eclectic mix of proven Senior level grapplers, age group stars, and wrestlers who might be stuck behind someone outstanding, keeping them from competing at world-level championships.  We should find out a lot about many of these athletes this week and it is a safe bet we’ll see more than a few of them at the Senior level World Championships down the line if we haven’t already.

Join us now as we go weight-by-weight through the day one field identifying title contenders, medal threats, dark horses, and wrestlers to keep an eye on, then make our medal predictions!
