A Look Inside the Junior Women’s Freestyle Finals

Over the weekend the top Junior, Cadet, Schoolgirl, Intermediate and Novice women’s wrestlers descended upon Irving, Texas for 2018 Women’s Nationals. We will take a look inside the finals of the Junior division, as berths for world team at the Junior World Championships were on the line in the finals, which were decided in a best-of-three format. Three former Junior world team members were among the women who were competing for spots on the 2018 team. When it was all said and done, Team USA will feature an incredible lineup at the World Championships, undoubtedly capable of improving upon last years fifth place finish and making a run at a team title. Here's a match-by-match look at how the team was assembled.
