Finishing up our theme this week of programs on the rise, we'll head out west to check out the Fresno State Bulldogs. We are heading into the third season of competition for head coach Troy Steiner after the athletic department at the school has resurrected the FSU program. Steiner's squad sent two wrestlers to nationals in their first year back and then increased that number to five in year two. It only took two years for the staff to get their first All-American out of the way, also. With all five national qualifiers returning in 2019-20 and more help on the horizon, in the form of a recruiting class that was ranked 19th in the nation, the future is looking bright in Fresno. Actually, the present is going to be pretty good, too. Here is an early look at the lineup that Fresno State could send out in year number three.
