We’ll start off another week’s worth of Early Lineup Look’s by staying in Pennsylvania and moving on to Lock Haven. Winners of the last two EWL Championships, Lock Haven, has taken the baton from Edinboro as a PSAC school that heads up the conference, produces All-American’s consistently, and finishes in the top 20. Led by two AA’s in 2018-19, the Bald Eagles finished 18th in the nation under head coach Scott Moore. Six Lock Haven wrestlers qualified for nationals last season, four of which return in 2019-20. The Bald Eagles are a veteran-laden lineup that could toss out a lineup that features five seniors against only two freshmen. In dual meet formats, LHU may be even stronger next year than the 2018-19 team that went 10-3 overall and was unbeaten during conference action. Speaking of conferences, there will be under a whole new look next season. The former EWL teams have merged with the MAC forming a giant, 15-team conference. A solid squad like Lock Haven should only have a positive impact by the move. They will likely pick up an extra qualifier or two as more spots will be allocated to the MAC. Here is a look at the possible lineup that coach Moore can send out during Lock Haven’s initial season in their new conference.
