Today, TOM got to sit down with North Carolina’s Associate Head Coach Tony Ramos. Tony was instrumental in signing an incoming recruiting class that was ranked third in the nation just about two weeks ago. He discusses the excitement surrounding that group along with a Tar Heel team that is returning nine wrestlers with past NCAA experience. Ramos also gets into the growing wrestling scene in North Carolina, the ACC, and the Southeast. He has also transformed from the wrestler who made “The Stare” famous into a coach that prides himself on his teams community service efforts and winning a Rammy. Finally, we go around the horn and talk cookie dough, getting angry at refs, The Last Dance, Brooklyn 99, and seeing Mike Tyson workout and getting the itch to wrestle again (or not?). That and much more in our Quarant-Interview with Tony Ramos.
