Recently, TOM had the opportunity to catch up with Oklahoma’s fifth-year head coach Lou Rosselli. Coach Rosselli’s Sooners feature a pair of NWCA All-Americans, Dom Demas and Anthony Mantanona, that are among the most entertaining wrestlers to watch in the nation. Rosselli talks about Mantanona’s growth from year one to two as a starter and Demas’ ability to develop and fine-tune his inside trip. There’s plenty of reason for optimism in Norman this year as Oklahoma will return five national qualifiers, along with Virginia Tech-transfer Mitch Moore. The Sooners recruiting has been on an uptick since Rosselli’s arrival and their Class of 2020 was ranked 17th by TOM. We also get into what makes his former colleague at Edinboro, Tim Flynn, so successful in developing coaches and having the opportunity to work with his son Jordan.
