This week’s High School Wrestler of the Week is Ryan Anderson of Bethlehem Catholic in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Anderson, a senior, won the Walsh Ironman 145-pound division, going 6-0 with two falls and two major decisions including wins over top-10 ranked wrestlers Travis Mastrogiovanni  (Blair Academy, NJ) and Jaden Abas (Rancho Bernardo, CA). The Iowa State commit rolled through Abas in the finals en route to an 11-1 major decision. He was named the tournament’s Outstanding Wrestler for his efforts. This is his first championship at the event for Anderson after taking third and second in each of the past two years. Anderson is the defending state champion in Class 3A at 138 pounds having placed third a year prior. He went 67-9 over the first three years of his career. The senior is projected to wrestle at 141 for the Cyclones.
