Three-time state champion Tyler Berger transfers to Crook County

Tyler Berger, one of Oregon’s most accomplished high school wrestlers in recent years, has transferred from Hermiston to Crook County for the upcoming school year.

Berger is a three-time Class 5A state champion, as well as a three-time Reser’s Tournament of Champions winner. The transfer was confirmed by Hermiston athletic director Mike Kay, who didn’t give specifics.

This winter, Berger attempts to become the second wrestler to win four Reser’s titles.
