Day three of the World Championships continues tomorrow from Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. Next up are final three men’s Greco-Roman weights. They have an increased amount of significance since all three are Olympic weights. Anyone that finishes in the top five qualifies their country for the 2020 Olympics. For each day of the competition, we’ll do a bracket breakdown for the action that will take place on the following day. With tomorrow’s bracket having been released, here’s what we can expect from the next three weights.
60 kg - Ildar Hafizov will begin his 2019 tournament on the top half of the break in the Round of 32 opposite of German Etienne Kinsinger. Kinsinger has had a solid 2019, winning Thor Master and earning the bronze medal at the German Grand Prix. His showing at the European Championships was not as hot since he finished 12th. In 2018, Kinsinger was fifth in Europe and eighth at the World Championships.
