Day four of the World Championships continues tomorrow from Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan and with it brings the first day of women’s freestyle. Four weights will be contested with two of them (50 and 53 kg) being Olympic weights. Anyone that finishes in the top five qualifies their country for the 2020 Olympics. For each day of the competition, we’ll do a bracket breakdown for the action that will take place on the following day. With tomorrow’s bracket having been released, here’s what we can expect from the first four women’s weights.

50 kg - Whitney Conder sits in the top of the bottom bracket in the Round of 32 against Son Hyang Kim of North Korea. Kim was a match away from the medal stand last year and was a world bronze medalist the year before. In 2018, Kim was also a bronze medalist at the Asian Games and a silver medalist at the Ivan Yarygin. Back in 2014, she was a gold medalist at the Youth Olympic Games.
