The day has finally come where we have a domestic, RTC dual tournament with FloWrestling’s 2020 RTC Cup on Friday and Saturday. Wrestling fans have clamored for this type of competition since the advent of RTC’s and as they have become more prevalent on the Senior level. Six top teams will square off for $200,000 in prize money. Each of the six teams will be divided into two pools and wrestle the remaining two teams in their group during Friday’s competition. Based on those results, they will be placed into a bracket on Saturday. The second and third-place teams from opposite brackets will face off, with the pool champions getting a bye. The pool champions will be placed on the same side of the bracket as the third-place team from their pool. Since most of these RTC’s are unable to field a complete lineup, some free agents will compete with a team for this event only.
We’ve broken down the matchups from the pool competition and predicted winners for each dual meet, along with the bracket on day two.
