Burroughs vs. Valencia Card Preview and Predictions

Saturday night FloWrestling will put on their third standalone Senior-level event of 2020 with their Burroughs versus Valencia card. With the recent rash of these one-off types of promotions, one thing has been evident. To generate interest from more than your hardcore fans, there needs to be a true main event draw. Just having a world medalist on the show, doesn’t immediately make people want to buy a pay-per-view or subscription. With that being said, this event has one of the GOAT’s of USA Wrestling anchoring the card in Jordan Burroughs. That’s a bit of a game-changer. He has yet to participate in any of these events, on any platform. To top it off, he has an opponent, Zahid Valencia, that he’s never faced before and stands a legitimate shot at winning. Zahid was also the frontrunner for the Hodge this collegiate season and has not been in action since February. Add all of that together, you’ve got a fascinating main event.

Before the main event, there are also six other bouts lined up. Two women’s matches, one incredible Greco-Roman showcase, and three others featuring current/former Ohio State Buckeyes.

Here’s a preview of each bout on the card, along with predictions for all seven matches.

Kyven Gadson vs. Kollin Moore
