Over the past two days, we have explored and previewed the ten freestyle matchups taking place at Final X Lincoln, so now we’ll wrap it up with the Greco preview. One noticeable trend in the five Greco matches is that there is a heavy influence from the armed forces. Four of the five bouts feature at least one competitors from either the Army WCAP, US Marines, or Air Force RTC. In three matches they will go head-to-head. While at the end of the day, they are all on the same team, each one of these branches is very proud and takes pride in beating the others. That will lead to even more intense competition and more on the line, in addition to a spot on the world team. After the action last week at Final X Rutgers, we saw two first-time world team members emerge. We will double that number (at least), as there are two matches in Lincoln that will pit wrestlers who have never made a world team against each other. Here is a preview of the action in the five Greco bout and predictions of winners for all five.

Session One

Bout Two: 60 kg Leslie Fuenffinger (Army WCAP) vs. Ildar Hafizov (Army WCAP)
