Friday marks the second eight-man bracket offering from FloWrestling in the last three months. On Halloween night, Flo held their eight-man 195 lb tournament, which featured a successful return to the mat by Keith Gavin, a darkhorse finals run by Taylor Lujan, and a dominant performance by Myles Martin. This tournament will be conducted at 150 lbs and has the potential to be even better. Friday’s field will include India’s Bajrang Punia, an Olympic gold medal threat, along with an American with multiple Senior world medals, and several of the top contenders for the 2020 Olympic Team. This time the ante has been raised with $25,000 on the line for the winner, $15,000 for the runner-up, $10,000 for third place, $5,000 for fourth, and $1,000 for first-round losers. In addition to the action going on in the tournament, there will be two matches, which include prominent members of the women’s national teams. We’ve got previews for those bouts, the bracket, and predictions for everything going down Friday night in Austin.
