The No. 18 Millikin wrestling team improved to 4-0 on the season with a 23-17 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin win over Aurora University on December 7 at the Griswold Center in Decatur.

The Big Blue got off to a fast start with third ranked Zac Blasioli (7-0) picking up a technical fall victory at 125 pounds. Coby Haney gave Millikin an 11-0 lead with a win by fall at 133.

Aurora then battled back with Jake Penzato and Austin Abitau posting back-to-back major decisions.

Twelfth ranked Nathan Callaway (12-0) turned the momentum back to Millikin with a quick win by fall at 157 pounds. Joey Jens them improved to 11-1 on the season with an 8-2 win at 165 pounds. Benicio Martinez posted Millikin last win at 184 pound with a 7-6 win.

Aurora picked up wins by decision at 174, 197 and 285 to close out the match.
