Apr 01
All-American Jore Volk is coming home.
The Minnesota native announced on Tuesday that he is transferring from Wyoming to Minnesota.
After qualifying for the NCAAs as a true freshman in 202, Volk earned All-America honors at 125 pounds as a sophomore, finishing seventh. He started this past season ranked No. 4 at 125 pounds. Volk competed at the NWCA All-Star Classic, where he defeated Tanner Jordan of South Dakota State 8-2. He then suffered an injury in November that caused him to miss the rest of the season.
Volk was a four-time state finalist and a three-time state champion in Minnesota. He was a 2022 U20 world champion in freestyle.
