All-American Crookham enters transfer portal
One of college wrestling's top lightweights has entered the transfer portal: Ryan Crookham.
Hard to put into words what Lehigh means to me. Lehigh is a family that has supported me through trial after trial. I'll be a mountain hawk forever and I appreciate all the support I have received from: my coaches, teammates, and fans. It was my honor to represent my home.

Crookham graduated from Lehigh and entered the portal as a graduate transfer. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
He placed third at the 2024 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships at 133 pounds. Crookham defeated Cornell's Vito Arujau twice that season, including once in the EIWA finals. Arujau went on to win the national title that season, beating Crookham by major decision in the NCAA semifinals.
Injuries have kept Crookham out of the postseason the past two seasons. During the 2024-25 season, Crookham compiled a 5-0 record before suffering a season-ending injury that prevented him from competing in the second half of the season. This past season, Crookham made his season debut on Jan. 10 but was lost for the season two weeks later.
