Three-time NCAA qualifier Berge signs with Oklahoma State
Bennett Berge has a new home.
The three-time NCAA qualifier and 2024 All-American signed with Oklahoma State, the school announced on Wednesday. Berge spent the past four seasons at South Dakota State.
After redshirting his first year at South Dakota State, the Minnesota native earned All-America honors at 184 pounds with a fourth-place finish in 2024. He qualified for the NCAAs in 2025 at 184 pounds, going 1-2.
This past season, Berge moved up to 197 pounds but failed to place, finishing 1-2 at the NCAAs in Cleveland.
With redshirt freshman 197-pounder Cody Merrill coming off national runner-up finish, Berge is expected to compete at 184 pounds for the Cowboys.
