Two-time NJCAA national champ Fletcher commits to Lindsey Wilson
Two-time NJCAA national champion Ayana Fletcher is headed to the NAIA, committing to Lindsey Wilson University after a standout career at Iowa Western Community College.
Fletcher enters the program following another dominant season at the junior college level. Competing at 145 pounds, she captured her second consecutive NJCAA national title at the 2026 NJCAA Women's Wrestling Invitational, defeating returning champion Delise Villa of Iowa Central, 9-0, in the finals. Her first national title in 2025 came at 160 pounds.
She finished the 2025–26 season ranked No. 3 in The Open Mat's pound-for-pound NJCAA women's wrestling rankings.
Fletcher now joins a Lindsey Wilson program that continues to gain traction nationally. The Blue Raiders placed eighth at the 2026 NAIA Women's Wrestling Championships and produced five All-Americans.
