Utah Valley University is bringing Jason Chamberlain back to its coaching staff, head coach Adam Hall announced.

Chamberlain returns to Provo after two seasons leading the Brunson Utah Valley Regional Training Center, a role he's held since 2024. He previously served as a UVU assistant under Greg Williams during the 2021-22 season, following five seasons on staff at Fresno State.

A Springville native, Chamberlain built one of the more decorated prep resumes in state history -- a four-time Utah state champion, U.S. Senior and Junior National champion, Fargo National champion and Dave Schultz Award winner. He carried that into a standout career at Boise State, where he became a two-time All-American and 2013 national runner-up, won three Pac-12 titles and racked up more than 100 career wins. That 2013 season also earned him Pac-12 Wrestler of the Year and Pac-12 Male Athlete of the Year honors. He wrestled alongside Hall and fellow UVU assistant Andrew Hochstrasser at Boise State -- all three were two-time All-Americans for the Broncos.

Chamberlain's competitive career didn't stop at the collegiate level. In freestyle, he won the 2015 Pan American Championship and the 2018 U.S. Open title, took silver at the 2014 Paris Grand Prix, qualified twice for U.S. Olympic Team Trials, finished as a Final X runner-up and earned spots on the U.S. national team and as a world team alternate.

Chamberlain and his wife, Abbey, have three children: Violet, Kitt and Jaylen.
