Lindsey Wilson is looking for a new women's wrestling head coach.

Devane Dodgens has resigned after two seasons leading the Blue Raiders, Lindsey Wilson athletics director Willis Pooler announced.

Dodgens was the first head coach in program history. He was named to the post on Jan. 4, 2024, while serving as an assistant coach with the Lindsey Wilson men's wrestling program.

The Blue Raiders found success quickly under his guidance. In his two seasons at the helm, Dodgens coached six NAIA All-Americans and 10 Mid-South Conference All-Conference selections.

The 2025-26 season was his best. Lindsey Wilson climbed into the top five of the NAIA Coaches' Poll, and Dodgens was named Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year.

The school said an announcement regarding new leadership for the program will be made in the coming days.

Pooler credited Dodgens with building the program into a winner.

“I want to thank Coach Dodgens for the good work he did in building our highly successful women's wrestling program,” said Pooler. “I wish him well in his future endeavors.”
